It's arriving in Australia in the fourth quarter of 2024 (October to December inclusive) in facelifted guise, priced from $79,990 before on-road costs.
That makes it more than $27,000 pricier than the outgoing flagship of the turbo-diesel Expert line. Pricing for the facelifted diesel range has yet to be announced.
The E-Expert is also almost $10,000 more expensive than the top-of-the-range LDV eDeliver 7 long-wheelbase (LWB), which offers both greater driving range (362km vs 330km for the Peugeot) and larger load space (6.7 vs 6.1-cubic metres).
Order books are open now, ahead of customer deliveries beginning in the fourth quarter.
In addition to the LDV, the E-Expert will also tackle the pricier Mercedes-Benz eVito, as well as the upcoming Ford E-Transit Custom.
It slots in above the smaller E-Partner, which arrived here last year.
