First responders and NSW paramedics treated the injured man for a gunshot wound to his groin before transferring him to St Vincent's Hospital.
The 77-year-old was conscious as he was wheeled out of the Castlereagh Street building into a waiting ambulance. Paramedics confirmed he was in a stable condition.

He was refused bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on February 29, 2024.
