Police have charged five men and seized more than 50 kilograms of drugs worth an estimated $15 million in a 48 hour blitz on alleged transnational organised crime syndicates in NSW.

The blitz led police to allegedly find commercial quantities of ketamine, amphetamine, cocaine, MDMA and cannabis inside a Sydney apartment. Police raided 13 properties in total.
Detective Superintendent Grant Taylor said police were making inroads in the fight against transnational organised crime.
"Transnational organised crime networks know there is big money to be made exploiting both legitimate and illegitimate industries here in Australia - but they have to get past us first," he said.
The search warrants were issued for properties in Berala, Granville, Lidcombe, Bankstown, Potts Hill, Burwood, Haymarket, and Sydney's CBD.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Police said they seized designer watches, jewellery, a liquid believed to be GBL, phones and documentation relevant to their investigation in the raids.
And assets valued at $8 million were frozen by the NSW Crime Commission, police said.
