The last record was reached on October 14 when 279 deaths related to the virus were recorded in one day in Iran.
The total number of virus-related deaths since the outbreak of the pandemic in Iran at the end of February now officially stands at 30,712 while the number of people infected with the coronavirus is 534,631, ministry spokeswoman Sima Lari said on state television.
A total of 4251 new infections were reported on Monday.
