The daughter of one of Australia's most successful vocalists, Jimmy Barnes, Mahalia has been in and around music her entire life.
Throughout her childhood years, she was exposed to everything from early Ray Charles to late Stevie Wonder, all of which helped shape her into a powerhouse soul and blues vocalist.
Barnes performs regular live gigs around Australia and also backs other artists including R&B singer Jade MacRae and her father Jimmy.

Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Dana Crowe has developed her own distinctive sound since releasing her debut EP Everything in 2017.
With influences from artists such as Fleetwood Mac to Bruce Springsteen, Crowe blends roots, rock and blues to create her own take on Americana.
Crowe's new single Not Broken has just been released.
