On a perfect morning for tennis a few more "hot shots" joined the squad.
They were taught some of the tennis basics by Anna Santurini, a past club champion and Daylesford's hot shot coach.
Several players took up the challenge of stepping up to compete in Section 1 this week and Jess Santurini proved her skills by winning the section.
In Section 2 Tayah Jack had a convincing victory.
Close games were held in Section 3 with Ari Scheltema coming out on top.

New club member Michael Guthrie played some great shots, edging out past club champion Pete Ekstead, to win the glasses this week.
