With influences ranging from Son House and Skip James, to Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones, as well as more contemporary artists like Tom Waits and Nick Cave, Frank Sultana dwells "comfortably in this vintage stylistic world, where the song is still king, and nothing beats a great story". His band, the Sinister Kids, can vary on stage from Frank and a backing singer, to a nine peice band. Regulars include the backing vocals of Jaz Ruggieri and Alyce Schulte, slide guitar and harp by Lyall Moloney, and the blues rythmn section of drummer Simon Panucci and bassist Nath Boaden.

Throughout more than three decades in music, Steve Poltz has toured and played just about anywhere and for that matter any style. He co-wrote Jewel's multiplatinum mega-hit "You Were Meant For Me,", and has multiple stories to share at festival and intimate gigs such as this sure to pecial night at The Palais. He began as frontman for underground legends The Rugburns.
In 20 years since his full-length solo debut, One Left Shoe, he has released 12 solo records, most recently "Folk Singer" in 2015 and this year's Nashville recorded "Shine On", with a forced relocation from San Diego.

With a new album under his belt singer-songwriter, Joe Pug will bring his The Flood In Color tour to The Royal. Joe Pug's new record is nearly four years in the making. The album process started with the goal of focusing on the simplicity of musicians playing together, live, in the same room and Pug wanted to take a new approach. The Chicago via Austin singer-songwriter, is a natural performer, engaging storyteller and solid, powerful guitarist. He will be joined by Ian Noe, folk singer-songwriter from Kentucky, USA.
