Clunes Field and Game Branch together with Daylesford Sporting Clays jointly hosted the 2019 Central Highlands Classic, a 200 target OTG event held at the Clunes simulated range.
Participants travelled from far and wide, many from interstate, to compete at this annual event which has created a lot of interest on the calendar.
The event attracted 348 nominations over the two days and with the range set to perfection, a reflection of the work and planning put in over many months, the weekend was another huge success.
Many participants who had travelled to Clunes took advantage of the accommodation within the area and surrounds.
Families who came with the shooters were happy to enjoy the many features and tourist activities in the area.
Congratulations to our combined winner, international shooter John Younger. He came out a one target winner in a "shoot off" between equally respected shooter and regular competitor at Clunes, Matthew Libbis.
