DAYLESFORD and Hepburn United's division one team had a hugely significant win over Ballarat North United at the weekend.

In one of their best wins in recent memory, Daylesford took their first division one win over North in 18 years.
It was a nail biter at half time with the scores even, before Daylesford's Claude Unique, Owen Turbitt and Jono Drystone helped to catapult the team to victory with the 4-1 win.
The game saw Daylesford debut player Brendan Col alongside the return of Ivan Carter.
North kept Daylesford accountable and did well in defence with some close calls from the keeper. Best in game for Daylesford were Hiroshi Masuda, Lachlan Torpedo and James Melesi.
In division two, Daylesford played a close game against the Forest Rangers in what was a close game in its entirety before the Rangers scored through a penalty and left the pitch with a 1-0 win.
Daylesford lost the game by one goal for the third week in a row.
Both division teams will have a break for the next two weeks.
