TRENTHAM'S Will Morris has taken his first ride on the new Trentham to Kyneton bus service.
Mr Morris, 21, previously could not travel to Kyneton unless his parents or another local drove him. But this has all changed with the introduction of the new bus route and he now has the independence to travel on his own.
With the help of a group of locals, Mr Morris petitioned the state government to fund a bus service to the neighbouring town.
Two additional bus services running from Daylesford, through Trentham to Woodend Station have also been introduced to link up with train services.
