It is partnering with Port Fairy Folk Festival and the National Folk Festival to present the Festival of Small Halls, which involves a group of folk and contemporary acoustic musicians touring New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria throughout March and April.
This year, Canada's award winning trio The Once, Australia's John Flanagan and The Cartwheels are performing.
The event was created in Canada after a desire was voiced for a new touring structure to allow musicians to tour regional areas and celebrate small communities, hospitality and of community halls.
"Festival of Small Halls has taken musicians on tour throughout Victoria for many years now. It's a great opportunity for small towns with small halls to host international and local musicians. It's always a fun night with great entertainment," Glenlyon Progression Association's Joy Durston said.
The festival will take place at Glenlyon Hall on Wednesday, April 3 from 7pm. Tickets available on the Festival of Small Halls website.
