Riders will travel to Glenlyon from all over the state to compete in three phases of dressage, show jumping and cross country.
The day caters for Pony Club and Open Riders from Grade 5 up to Grade 1, with many riders seeking qualification for state events.
Club Secretary Sarah Klas said competitions were made possible as a result of the combined efforts of club members, volunteers and the wider community.
“Horse Trials are a great challenge to both horse and rider testing education, skills and knowledge and require a great balance between fitness and energy, agility and accuracy and calm control,” she said.
"It’s so wonderful to see so many riders of all abilities come together and enjoy horse riding. A lot of effort goes into keeping the grounds in great condition so it’s fantastic to see riders challenged and succeeding in the event.”
The public are invited to attend the trials.
