Smeaton Bowls Club’s division four team played at home against Central Wendouree.
The team had a massive 49 shot win against the other club.
Winston Pickering, William May, Des Dwyer and skip Len Robinson lead the team to success with a 22 shot win in their rink, before Garry Fitzsimons, Ross Dimond, Robin Cawthan and skip Helen Mizzeni scored a 21 shot win.
Ian Ross, Laraine Toose, William Janetski and skip Geoff May won their rink by three shots.
David Pedretti, Miriam Haines, Graeme Perry and skip Ron Leishman also won by three shots.
Meanwhile, Clunes Bowling Club’s division two team travelled to Daylesford.
Skipper Andrew Ingram’s rink won by seven, but Daylesford were persistent and won the three other rinks to record an overall win of 34 shots.
In division seven, Clunes hosted City Oval on the home green.
All four of Clunes’ rinks recorded victories which led them to claim maximum points. Skippers Laurie Judd and Barry Laws recorded six shot margins, Satch Niemiec’s rink a nine shot margin and Josh Jolson’s rink a comfortable 13 shot victory.
