Two Trentham grand final teams took home hard-fought premiership flags at the weekend. The under 17.5 footballers continued their undefeated season with a thrilling win over Royal Park. The boys led the game from beginning to end, with ruckman Zac Kupsch awarded best on ground.

In the reserves, the Saints faced an undefeated Carisbrook with confidence. In a game to remember, the Saints led at the end of the first quarter, before Carisbrook bounced back in the second term.
Despite missing many chances at goal in the third term, the Saints went into the last 19 points up.
A late goal by the Brookers saw the match drawn and go to extra time. Two more five-minute quarters were played with the Saints were pipped by two points.
In the A-grade netball, an undefeated Trentham faced Carisbrook.
The Brookers were five goals up at half-time, and extended that lead to six goals at three-quarter time.
But in a monumental last quarter, the Saints turned the game on its head and scrambled a draw, before storming home to win by 10 goals.
The B-graders had come from fourth to play in the grand final against an undefeated Natte Bealiba. Despite leading most of the first half of the game, their opponents were fierce, snatching a 33-24 point win.
