In a massive effort by all involved, Daylesford Football Club’s 12/under team has finished their home and away season undefeated.

The junior team, led by coach Dave Thompson and assistant coach Maurie Monaghan, has been developing together for four years. Many of the team’s 27 players went through the Auskick program together.

The junior Bulldogs have had an exceptional year of success, winning the Lightning Premiership tournament and winning every match of the season.

This was topped off with the opportunity to present the grand final medals to the winning Central Highlands Football League senior’s team, Beaufort, at Ballarat’s Mars Stadium on September 8.

The juniors finished their season with the Best and Fairest Presentation on September 9, where Zach Koleski took out the Best and Fairest award for the third year in a row, closely tailed by Adam Leonard.
