A-grade
Hepburn, still vying for eighth place, took on bottom of the ladder Smythesdale, beating them by 69 points, 85-16. Creswick had a 34 point win over home team Skipton, with a final score of 61-27. Daylesford was defeated by Ballan by 58 points, 8-66, Clunes was defeated by Waubra 26-53 and Newlyn lost to Dunnstown by 44 points, 69-25.
B-grade
Hepburn’s B-grade players had a major 79 point win against Smythesdale, with a final score of 85-7, while Newlyn narrowly beat Dunnstown 41-36. Waubra had the advantage of playing at home, beating Clunes 42-30, as did Skipton, beating the Creswick Wickers by six points, 30-24. The Bulldogs played strong against seventh placed Ballan, but lost by 17 points, 21-37.
