Under 13s:
The team was outstanding in their 9-0 win and continues in their climb to the top of the ladder.
Under 15s:
The team produced a much improved performance on the previous week and the first round thrashing from Horsham, but lost the game with Ballarat 1-3.
Daylesford scored first early in the game through Jack Elliot who continues to improve at centre-forward. The team’s passing and possession also showed a significant improvement.
Ballarat were let back into the game through a penalty. At half-time, the game was one all.
Michael Armstrong’s goalkeeping kept Daylesford in with a chance until Ballarat scored two goals in the second half of the game.
Daylesford’s best on ground were Michael Armstrong, Asher Waldon, Rohan Singaram and Jack Elliot.
Seniors:
The seniors continued on their winning winning streak, beating Creswick 4-0 on Sunday.
Daylesford is now sitting at fourth place, but the win came at a cost with Rory McMaster coming off the ground with a serious injury 10 minutes from time.
The team played well in parts, but were slow to score and move the ball around, with some good crosses and finishes from McMaster, Tim Geeza, Dylan Nulty and Aidan Mayger.
