Ms Files started at Springs Medical in 1992 when her youngest child started school.
She has always worked in administration, with her roles ranging from reception duties, data base cleansing managing the setup of new doctors as well as being an OH&S representative.
Ms Files said the highlight of her time at Springs Medical her highlight was being a part of the team.
“It’s huge now compared to when I started at Raglan St. It is a workplace which is constantly changing, so there’s always a challenge, something new to learn.
“Being part of a workplace which benefits people in our district with the range of services available –that’s been one of the biggest changes, being able to access many services locally which we used to travel to larger centres for.”
With her spare time, she plans to travel, continue volunteering with the Historical Society and CFA and spend more time with her family.
