The Clydesdale Community Hall Committee was given $2000 for a permanent pictorial history of Clydesdale’s pioneering families at its community hall.
Trentham Bowling Club Inc was given $1000 for the Trentham Bowling Club Women’s Bowls program to purchase bowls to increase female participation in the sport.
Finally, Trentham Neighbourhood Centre was awarded $1000 of funding to replace chairs due to safety concerns under its TNC Park Your Butt (Seating Replacement).
The Community Grants Program supports the work of community groups, organisations and innovation.
It funds applications in the categories of Sustainable Environment and Vibrant Economy, Active and Engaged Communities and Quality Community Infrastructure.
Council allocated $32,000 for community grants in the 2017-2018 budget. $2347 remains for the April grants.
