The Daylesford Art Show showcases around 300 artworks from over 70 local artists. The exhibition of work is open to visitors at Daylesford Town Hall from Friday to Monday.
Artober organiser Alicia Kay said this year’s show displayed a wide variety of work.
“We have got modern, abstract, and a lot of landscape pieces,” she said.
In its 34th year, Ms Kay said the Daylesford Art Show has gained respect among the art community.
“It’s all about supporting the community, supporting local art and being able to help everyone out and give them a great place to display their art,” Ms Kay said.
Work will be judged in the categories of landscape, urbanscape, portraits and nudes. The Daylesford Art Show is open to the public on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm and Monday from 10am to 1pm at Daylesford Town Hall.
