The club, which is aimed at kids of all skill levels aged from four to 16 years old, puts an emphasis on fun and holds medal presentations at the end of every meet where participants receive a ribbon.
Committee member Kingsley Lang said the family-focused club wanted to promote skills and safety rather than competition.
“It’s more about learning to ride than racing, and what we’ve found over the last 40 years is that as they get older and more confident they continue on to full on racing and motocross,” he said.
Mr Lang said putting on the monthly event required a team effort from volunteers.
“It’s the members that make this club, and if we didn’t have a really good base of members and a strong committee then we wouldn’t be in existence,” he said.
President Stephen Jones said the club presented a safe environment for the kids.
“It all comes down to people being passionate with their kids,” he said.
