Algae still in Daylesford
The council first issued the warning to residents on May 19 and reaffirmed the warning on May 26.
The algae typically occurs during hot weather in bodies of low, slow-flowing water and contains toxins which are harmful to humans. Symptoms include skin rashes, itchiness, sore eyes, ears and nose.
