For Daylesford Secondary College student Natasha Pasahidis, maintaining the right balance between study and a healthy social life was the key to an outstanding VCE result.

The 18-year-old took out the title of school dux with an outstanding score of 95.60 after studying English, Vet Sport and Recreation, Psychology, Health and Human Development, Maths Methods and Specialist Maths.
Ms Pasahidis said ensuring she made time to exercise and spend time with friends helped her to cope with the stresses of her final year of school.
“I played netball for Daylesford and made sure I kept fit throughout the year,” Ms Pasahidis said.
Ms Pasahidis hopes to go on to study International Law and Global Studies at Deakin University after developing a passion for humanities in her final year of study.
While a job with the United Nations is the current dream, Ms Pasahidis said she was looking forward to taking a well earned break over the summer.
“I’ll just chill out, make some money and enjoy the summer for what it is.”
