A recent example of this is the construction of red gum seats along the Glenlyon Biolink Reserve, which winds around the Upper Loddon River in Glenlyon. This walking trail has been signposted between the Daylesford- Malmsbury Road, near the Glenlyon Reserve entrance.
As managers of the Biolink Reserve, the Glenlyon and Upper Loddon Landcare Group approached the Daylesford Men’s Shed to help provide suitable seating along the 3km walking trail.
The Men’s Shed members constructed the seats at their workshop in Victoria Park and then installed by members of the Glenlyon Landcare Group.
