Country Women’s Association Trentham branch president Tracey Williams said the markets, run by TRATA, were unique to the area.
The profits go to the restoration and upkeep of the town’s historic railway yard – one of Trentham’s major draw-cards.
Ms Williams said the market attracted people from out of town and locals and was a great place to start a Sunday in Trentham.
“It’s at the start of the Domino Trail – so we encourage people to go for a walk after the markets,” Ms Williams said.
“I personally love people and you meet lots of fascinating people at the markets.
“It’s a beautiful area for people to come and visit and they can spend the whole day exploring cafes and enjoying local, home made produce.”
Early birds can pop over to the market from 8.30am with the carriages packed up at 2.30pm.
