The local Murray to Moyne bike riding team raised upwards of $30,000 this year, to be used towards a theatre bed at the hospital.
It was the 24th year the 12-man team took part, with leader Ben Stevens saying this March's ride had been as successful as ever.
In the past they've raised money for new hospital beds, artwork in the aged care centre and other services for the facility.
NUM theatre and infection control worker Rhonda Cheyne said the 21st century bed, bought in January, replaced an old second-hand contraption.
"This one is electronic and can move much more easily, which is great for the safety of patients and our workers," she said.
Dr Greg Malcher, who took part in the ride, said it was a whole community effort to make the donation possible.
"Most Murray to Moyne teams only include people from the health industry, but we really look to involve other riders and consumers of the service as well," he said.
"It's about community development, working towards a common cause and meeting new friends along the way."
