Lavandula's Jack Larm said many local stallholders took part, with sculptors placing creations among the gardens.
He said the local petanque club held their annual Lavandula Championships and a petting zoo catered for children of all ages.
"There was a distinct focus on regionally sourced food and wine, some of the produce straight from our own garden," he said.
"A number of rural skills were on display from distilling lavender for oil to harvesting and preserving olives.
"It was a wonderful day for giving local artisans, producers and artists contact with an attentive audience."
Stallholders included Henry the Chestnut Man, Adele of Love Tease, Liza and Cat handicrafts and band The Ciderhouse String Band.
