The funding will bring together the three neighbourhood centres to help share training and resources for pre-accredited courses.
Macedon MP Mary-Anne Thomas made the announcement last week, saying neighbourhood centres were integral in providing courses to a range of learners.
“They are a lifeline for many disadvantaged learners in our community,” Ms Thomas said.
“They improve opportunities to those in our community who have experienced barriers to education to develop the skills they need to find work or further their education."
Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre will also use the funding to undertake research to better understand their learners and the skills that local industry needs.
