The community of Hepburn will have its new fire station in the next few months, just in time for the next fire season.
The site of the new station became controversial when the Hepburn Shire rejected the original planning permit.
However, with sensible negotiations between the community, CFA and Hepburn Shire, a final decision was reached where the new facilities will not only be an asset the Hepburn Fire Brigade but the whole community.
