Wigmore delivered a brilliant performance on the day and lifted at the crucial moments to come away victorious following some close encounters.
In the first game of the day, Wigmore played Josie Turner of the Central Highland Bowls Division.
Wigmore moved clear to take a 23-19 lead. She was stranded on 23 for four ends but finally managed to draw two shots to reach the required 25 shots for victory.
Wigmore faced a young gun from Goldfields Bowls Division, Kira Bourke, in the final. The game ebbed and flowed with the lead constantly changing until the score reached 24-all.
On the final end, Bourke drew three fabulous bowls as Wigmore was a little wayward with her first three bowls.
But, realising she had nothing to lose, she played a weighted shot, reaching the head and catapulting the kitty to within two inches of the boundary line and holding two shots for the game and championship.
