Having shaken off the controversy that surrounded Sunday’s win, the St Pat’s boys comprehensively took out the boys event, ahead of Ballarat Clarendon College (second), Ballarat Grammar (third), Ballarat High School (fourth) and Damascus College (fifth).
The race panned out in very similar fashion to Sunday’s race, with St Pat’s winning by a similar margin and just a slight change in the minor placings.
Clarendon advanced from fourth place to second, while Grammar and High School dropped back one place each.
There was no celebration afterwards from crews, who appeared exhausted after what has been a tumultuous week.
