The sights and sounds of Scotland were on full display on Saturday when the 65th Daylesford Highland Gathering assembled at Victoria Park after marching down Vincent Street.

About 380 musicians from 18 local and interstate bands competed for bragging rights at the prestigious competition.
Dancers of all ages also entertained some 1200 spectators.
The day concluded with the traditional massed bands performance, where all of the musicians played in unison.
Daylesford Highland Gathering secretary Cameron Telfer hoped the event would be able to grow again in 2017, with the goal of attracting 20 bands to the competition including bands from Tasmania and Mount Gambier.
