Let Geoffrey take you on a night of soul, blues and reggae, with a mixture of flavours, intermingling interpretations of the well-known and not so well-known and originals rubbing shoulders with spontaneous musical happenings.
All these served with a hint of chilli! A local muso, Geoffrey will sing selections from Desmond Dekker, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles and 60s and 70s UK pop. Armed with an acoustic guitar and a loop pedal, he has performed at Woodford Folk Festival, Newstead Live, Montreux Jazz Festival, Bendigo Writer’s Festival and International Jazz Day.

Friday, Angie and the Doc, @ Horvat’s Supper Club
These guys play folkgrass and define it as; “a cross-over genre, which takes equally from acoustic folk and contemporary bluegrass. Here the accent is on melody and a deep respect for traditional country music.”
Underpinned by Doc’s finger-picking skills and Angie’s driving acoustic bass this duo has quickly made a name for itself in central Victoria.
And wherever they play audience members remark on their distinctive and strong harmony singing inspired by the duo’s mutual love for southern Baptist gospel singing.
Friday, Suzanne Hobson @ Blue Bean Cafe, Hepburn

Together they explore the world of jazz throughout the ages, with stunning vocals and jiving bass and guitar. Come along to find out who rounds out the trio.
