Their beautiful wings span larger than the human form and often, they guide her and comfort her when she's alone.
Liza has always been different.
When she was five, a group of dogs would arrive on her doorstep and walk her to school.
She believes everything in nature is living, and when holding someone's hand, Liza can see things that others can't.
She's seen some bad things - really bad things - but more often, she has helped people find peace.
"Life really is hard, and it'll come with bad times, there's no doubting that," Liza said.
"But we must believe in the comfort that's out there - we only need to call and ask for help from the angels and they will help us. I've seen it myself."
She knows too well how closed-minded some people are, and she was even sceptical of her gift in the past.
But the Daylesford woman, who spends most of her time amongst nature, says there was one moment that really made her realise what she felt was real.
"I was giving a man a massage and I saw an angel come and touch his finger gently, like they were trying to heal him," she said.
"After the massage, I asked him about that hand, and he said his finger had been badly crushed in the past and had never recovered.
"I guess that's when I knew."
And for her, there is great comfort in knowing of the outer spirit world.
"People aren't willing to believe in what they can't see or feel, but when we lose a loved one, they are just there," Liza said.
"Even when we have a fight with someone, or they live far away, they know where we are and they are helping us.
"And if we want to talk to them, all we have to do is picture a cord from their heart to ours.
"They will know."
