With a large crowd in attendance the Max Stephens Best Clubman was awarded to Brian Rowe, for his many years of service to the club and the community.
Des Morrell was presented with life membership for his service to the Cats both on and off the field.
The Dimond family award for the senior football best and fairest was presented to Dan Wehrung.
Wehrung booted 18 goals for the year and was named in Newlyn’s best in 14 of the club’s 18 games this season.
Runners-up, winning the Ron Leishman trophy was Nathan Skewes.
The Mitchell family award, which is awarded to the most determined player, was given to Tom Inverarity.
The most consistent player across the 2014 season was Ryan Ewing and the rising star was Dan Hammond.
Will Young won the goal kicking award, he finished the season with 59 goals.
In the reserves, Chris Dwyer, won the Nick Rousch won the best and fairest, with Dan Eastwell coming second.
Jess Eastwell was name the most consistent player and Pat McKinnon was the most improved.
Michael Dodds won the goal kicking award, he booted 56 goals for the season.
His best game, came against Smythesdale, where he kicked a massive 16 goals.
The under-18 best and fairest winner was Joel Willmott.
The runners-up were Luke Prendergast and Earl Cody.
The coaches award was given to Vinnie McDonald.
Prendergast was also presented with the most improved player award while Jake Weightman was named the most consistent player of the year.
Earl Cody won the goal kicking award, he kicked 33 goals.
In the under-15s competition, Jacob Cassells won the best and fairest award, runners-up was Campbell Spittle.
The coaches award was given to Ben Rofe, the most improved to Tom May and the most consistent was Brad Weightman.
Reece Wynd won the goal kicking award, he kicked 64 goals for the year.
In the netball, Steph Blyth won the A-grade best and fairest award, runners-up was Gemma Gill.
Nadine Jones was presented with the coaches award.
In the B-grade, Montana Labs was crowned with the best and fairest award.
Maddie Durie was the runners-up, while Cassie Salter was rewarded for her season with the coaches award.
In the C-grade netball Astin Briody was the best and fairest winner and Tahlia Dejong was second.
Claire Dickeson was given the coaches award.
In the under-17 netball, Celie Hay was awarded the best and fairest award, Emily Thompson was second.
The coaches award was presented to Eliza Martina.
Caitlin May was rewarded for her impressive season, with the best and fairest award in the under-15’s.
Freya Maude was second.
Kirsty May was presented with the coaches award.
In the under-13’s, Taylah Ingram won the best and fairest award with Sarah Campbell in second place.
The coaches award was given to Georgina Martino.
