Clunes scores midweek pennant bowls win

In round 15 of midweek Premier Division, Clunes took on Creswick at home.

Creswick was able to win two rinks, each by four shots.

Clunes skipper Alan Carnegie with Eileen Spong, Lindsay Tucker and Maureen Harris was able to win by 15 shots to give Clunes the outright win by seven shots.

In midweek division 4, Clunes travelled to Linton and was able to win all rinks.

In round 16 of Saturday pennant, Division 2 played Invermay at home. Each club was able to win two rinks, but Invermay won outright by 12 shots.

The Saturday pennant division 6 side travelled to Invermay and was able to win three rinks. Laurie Judd's rink continued their great form, winning 41-9 to help Clunes win outright by a massive 51 shots. With only two rounds before finals, Clunes is still within reach of the final four.
