Thursday Steve Poltz (US)
Just in case you missed him, fresh from Queenscliff Music Festival.
Throughout more than three decades in music, Steve Poltz has toured and played just about anywhere and, for that matter, in any style. He co-wrote Jewel's multiplatinum megahit "You Were Meant For Me", and has multiple stories to share at festival and intimate gigs.
He began as frontman for underground legends The Rugburns. In the 20 years since his full-length solo debut, One Left Shoe, he has released 12 solo records, most recently "Folk Singer" in 2015 and this year's Nashville-recorded "Shine on". By 2016, he "survived a stroke, endured anything the music industry could throw at him, and still performed like '280 days a year'."
