MIDWEEK PENNANT

Premier Division: Hosted Daylesford at home. Daylesford got away to a great start with one rink leading 20 to three. However, in a big turnaround Clunes skipper Lindsay Tucker with Lee Dixon, Bill Hudson and Dawn Vorbach made up this deficit and finished the best performed Clunes rink in this division to win their rink by eight shots. Both other Clunes rinks were able to win in close finishes, with Mark Vorbach's rink up by three and Alan Carnegie's up by five. Clunes received maximum points and outright victory by 16 shots.
Division 4 Hosted Buninyong at home. Also in a great showing, the Clunes rink of Val Jackson, Barb Millar, Rex Martin and skipper Annie Shields held a strong lead at the lunch break and Buninyong found it very difficult to score. This Clunes rink powered to a 38-9 victory. Clunes skipper Dave Reynolds' rink also won 27-22. Clunes received maximum points and outright victory in this game too.
The Saturday Pennant was cancelled due to wet weather.
