Four big nights with individual and multiple night packages available for a long weekend of dancing, music, food and the unexpected.
Friday Tex Perkins. MC Aurora Kurth sings in a night with "the man in black" himself, Tex Perkins, playing with the excellent Matt Walker, taking a break from Los Ragas, and The Fat Rubber Band. Tex will play selections from his solo catalogue, Cruel Sea, perhaps even some Beasts and his work with Don and Charlie. Then it's DJ Hot Wheels until 1am.
Saturday Caba'risque Carnival Party with the amazing Burlesque Queen Miss Sina King in a double act with the Huxleys performance artists and the amazing DJ Tanzer. An extravaganza of entertainment (including Daylesford clairvoyants doing tarot and palmistry).
Sunday Local DJ Nico n Pancho Combo with local and sassy podium dancers. Caba'risque Festival Supper club. A night to meet performers and to cut loose.
Monday Sweet Dreams are made of this. LTGBQI "Dance Party for All Sorts", a mixed bag of music, dancing and entertainment.
Blue Bean Cafe
Friday The Old Married Couple. Riley and Katie Beech are only in their 20s but they're already an Old Married Couple. Vintage in style and sound, The Old Married Couple combine a witty song writing style with a distinctive kazoo and fun infused swing-folk sound.
Saturday Nathan Power.
Sunday North East
Bellinzona, Hepburn
Friday Dana Crowe 8pm - 10pm. Melbourne based singer/songwriter Dana Crowe has developed her own distinctive sound since releasing her debut EP "Everything", in 2017. With influences from artists such as Fleetwood Mac and Bruce Springsteen, Crowe blends roots, rock and blues to create her own take on Americana. Dana's new single "Not Broken" has just been released.
Clydesdale Hall
Little Hall, Big Show. Sunday 2pm-late. Final show for 2019. What a concept: get some of the best bands in the region, BYO drinks, shared salads, put some snags on barbie or buy a sausage in bread with admission by donation. Okay, I've already got you but here are the bands - Cartwheels, Pear Shaped Clappers, Railroad Rex and The Hapless Brakemen, Feather Head, Jackson Jackson plus special guests.
VALE
Rex Watts, aka Railroad Rex, who died suddenly on October 24. His passing is a big loss to the regional musical community.
