Daylesford and Hepburn United's division 1 and 2 teams had solid wins on the weekend, but it was the division 2 Saints who stole the show with an impressive 3-1 victory over top-four side North United.

The win went to show that the division 2 side should really be playing finals in two weeks, but will miss out after failing to win the easy games early on.
Still, the win was a good reason to celebrate, with Abdel and Sean playing well up front and commanding defensive work from Brendan, Tim L and Dragi Koleski. The return of Govi and Shanka was prominent and allowed for more squad depth.
The division 1 side had a solid 7-0 win in poor conditions, but missed the opportunity to put the league title beyond doubt.
The equation is now simple: Daylesford must win, draw or lose by less than two goals to win the league title against Warrnambool.
Owen Turbitt scored an incredible five goals and played out of his skin, but it was Josh Duffy who got the man of the match award this week. Duffy played a selfless game, tearing down the wing and setting up goals all day.
The Saints will need to lift to hold back a hungry Warrnambool, with the division 1 league title on offer.
Both teams will play at home, with the division 2 game at 1pm and division 1 from 3pm Sunday.
UNDER 13
The Saints went into this match missing key players Zach and Tulley, however this didn't faze the 11 players on the field. Mighty performances from Otis, Monty, Mehdi, Logan and Tate ensured the under 13s secured the three points with a fabulous 5-0 win.
The Saints will face second-place Ballarat in the last round of the season.
A win or a draw will secure back to back championships. Kickoff is at 11am at Victoria Park.
UNDER 12 GIRLS
After antarctic weather last week, the girls were blessed with playing against Ballarat SC in quite temperate five-degree weather.
It was a big game for the girls, with the result going a long way towards deciding final places in the ladder and Ballarat City taking out first spot.
Alas it was not to be, as the Daylesford girls went down 2-0. It a hard fought first half, with chances made for both teams. Ava was unlucky to hit the post. Again, Imi kept the Saints in the game with great saves.
They went in 0-0 at half-time, but Ballarat was able to break the deadlock and go on to be in strong position to take second place.
The girls will regroup on Wednesday night, where chips and drinks will be enjoyed as they say goodbye to coach Zoran, players Zara and Neisa as they head off on holidays.
The last game of the home and away season will be at home ground at 10am.
The girls will need a victory to secure second place against table-toppers City, which has only lost one game this year.
