Bring your words, music and instrumental sounds. Pre-register for a guaranteed spot, or just rock up on the night. Registration 6pm; acts 7-9pm. Every Thursday.
Friday, Kerryn Fields @ Palais Hepburn
Hailing from farming land in the heart of New Zealand, Fields grew up among the storytellers found in sheds.
It's a talent she now brings to the stage, along with her unique style of alt-country songwriting.
Saturday, Geoffrey Williams and Choir @ Palais Hepburn
Williams will appear in an intimate gig with a choir in tow. Renowned as a purveyor of soul, blues and reggae, a mixture of flavours, intermingling interpretationas of the well known and not so well known, originals rubbing shoulders with sponteaneous musical happenings.
All served with a hint of chilli! Williams describes his music as "Marvin Gaye meets Joni Mitchell in a UK suburb over a pot of my mum's rice and peas." Armed with an acoustic guitar and loop pedal, he has performed at Woodford Folk Festival, Newstead Live, Montreux Jazz Festival and the Bendigo Writers Festival.

An afternoon show presented by Hepburn council, FReeZA is an all ages showcase featuring: Nervous Pedestrians, The Great Divides band more local young artists to be announced.

Dance plays electric guitar with a drummer, Black Keys style, serving up mostly originals with some covers thrown in. He has recorded a couple of albums of blues rock and roll.

The Sockettes weave together a wide range of musical influences to deliver a unique sound. From Irish fiddle, mandolin to folk guitar, The Sockettes unify their learnings, individual genre's and personal experiences to create a range of warm and engaging song writing. Storytelling is delivered with mellifluous three-piece harmonies adorned with strings and keys. Close to finishing their first album, the live show is intimate and emotive.
