Creswick Bowling Club held a significant event on June 12, with the ladies and men's divisions uniting to become one bowls section after 70 years.

Judith Caddy was elected president; Richard Burt, vice-president; Joyce Head, secretary; Ross Prictor, treasurer; and Chris Boyd, assistant treasurer. Committee members are Stephen Hepworth, Bernie O'Malley, Greg Peel and Helen Seiler. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to Judith Caddy, Ross Prictor, Ron Head, Alan Kinnersley, Barry Yates and Bernie O'Malley.
Life membership was bestowed upon Lance Keen.
He joined the club in 1987 and has been a loyal member for 32 years. "Mustard' is not only a true sportsman but a highly qualified tradesman, who had put his efforts into the welfare of both the old and new clubhouses.
His knowledge and skills at plumbing, carpentry or mechanical work have been much appreciated.
Mustard has also been involved as a member of various sub-committees including pennant, social and works. He worked conscientiously as a treasurer for many years.
Mustard has always been a keen bowler and continues to be a successful team player in both Saturday and Monday pennant.
