The Goldfields Jazz Orchestra promises to deliver a high-energy afternoon of hip-swinging, toe-tapping tunes at the Palais, featuring smoking instrumentals, cracking solos and a range of classic love tunes.
The finest players from Ballarat to Bendigo feature in this classic 18-piece line-up, which will leave you ecstatic as they power through an array of tunes from the great arrangers.

Ballarat jazz performer Paige Duggan is joined by guitarist Wayne Parker performing an ecelectic mix of jazz standards.
Duggan's style references the jazz greats, both contemporary and classic.
But her years as a emerging singer-songwriter, crossing many genres as a vocal performer, has helped her evolve her jazz voice into a unique and exciting one, mixing up genres and vocal stylings.

Award-winning Melbourne duo The Maes features sisters Maggie (banjo, guitar and vocals) and Elsie Rigby (fiddle, mandolin and vocals).
Born into the arms of the folk music community in Australia, both sisters were side of stage at their first folk festival when they were four weeks old.
They have been absorbing and exploring folk music since that time.
They are launching their third album, which was recorded in studios across Europe and Melbourne.
Over the last three years, the pair have toured extensively, bringing their unique contemporary twist on folk music to audiences in across the world.
Their album, Take Care Take Cover was awarded best folk roots album in the 2017 Age Music Victoria Award and has received rave reviews.
The Maes have also performed sessions for Rolling Stone and US satellite radio Sirius XM's Village Folk.
Take Care Take Cover was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee with producer and engineer Erick Jaskowiak (Crooked Still, Tim O'Brien, Darrell Scott, The Waifs).
