Featuring Lewis' own alt country band Dirtbird performing on the night as a duo, plus Ballarat legends The Dead Salesmen.

Local artist David M. Lewis will be exhibiting his latest series of pen-and-ink drawings until April 19.

The artworks will be naïve representations of iconic album covers from the 1960s to the 2010s.

Lewis has been exhibiting sculpture, paintings and drawings around Australia since the 1990s.

Dirtbird present an offering of beautiful, close harmonies and sparsely pulsing acoustic guitar.

Laid-back songs about mythical journeys and the end of the world are some of the elements which Lewis and fellow Dirtbirder Vic Moss weave in and out of the organic quietness which has become the band's sound.

Still reeling from their gut-wrenching final act at the Old Hepburn, Dave and Wendy will wipe the tears from their eyes as they re-imagine their future.

Sorry, not to be too nostalgic, but the band will still feature alt country music of all shapes and sizes, rockabilly influenced material and personal and poignant anecdotes.
