The hall was crowded with residents from across the shire in celebration of the region's women.
Creswick Brass Band welcomed residents to the event before local performers Maureen Andrew and Amie Brulee told the stories of Vida Goldstein, an Australian suffragette and pioneer for women's rights in Australia, and Ruby Lindsay, an illustrator born in Creswick.
Five of the region's women were inducted to the Heather Mutimer Honour Roll for women; Margret Lockwood, Donna Cooper, Caelli Greenbank, Kathleen Morrison and a posthumous induction for Rozanne Moynihan, which was accepted by her husband Danny.
