A woman in her 50s has been taken to Daylesford Hospital in a stable condition with injuries to her chest following a head-on collision just below Jacksons Lookout.
Paramedics were called to the incident on the Back Hepburn Road about 6.55am after two vehicles were involved in the head-on collision.
The driver of the second vehicle, a man in his 40s, was assessed by paramedics at the scene but escaped the crash without injury.
Police were on scene shortly after the crash, with firefighters arriving about 8am.
Both vehicles involved in the incident were loaded onto tow trucks and removed from the scene by 8.30am.
