Firefighters have the blaze under control.
After about 40 minutes the fire at Yandoit Hills is no longer a threat to the property.
EARLIER 2.44pm:
Firefighters are confident they will have the fire at a Yandoit Hills property under control shortly.
It appears the property is no longer in danger.
EARLIER 2.15pm:
A fire is burning out of control on a Yandoit Hills property north of Daylesford.
A column of smoke coming from the Yandoit-Sandon Road was first spotted at 2.15pm on Saturday afternoon.
Crews from Campbelltown, Franklinford, Newstead & District, Daylesford and Porcupine Ridge are turning out to the property as the blaze burns in between a house and a shed.
Air support has yet to be called, however should the situation worsen or the wind pick up they will assist.
The cause of the blaze is still unclear.
