Playing host to Wallan, Trentham bowled out the visitors for 97 in the first week of play and were confident in chasing down the runs they needed to win in the second week of the game.
Fast bowler John Cowell returned for Trentham and bolstered the team by taking three wickets for 18 runs off his 12 overs.
Life member Adam Prewett also had a great game, taking three wickets for 23 runs off his seven overs.
The Saints batted aggressively and made light work of Wallan’s 36 runs as Sam Hewitt and Chris Boyer found the boundary with a number of fours and sixes before Trentham was bowled out for 240 runs in the 35th over.
With the chance of an outright victory, Wallan picked up the bat and were able to bat out the day’s play.
Trentham won the innings 240 runs to 97.
The Saints will play host to Woodend at home next week for the last game prior to Christmas.
