The heritage-listed Avenue of Honour at Kingston honours more than 286 men and women who served during the war and were associated with the former Shire of Creswick.
The day of reflection involved a commemorative parade led by Creswick Light Horse, a Remembrance Service, historical displays and memorabilia along the Avenue and several guest speakers.
Entertainment was abundant throughout the day, with performances from Creswick Brass Band, steam machinery and military motorcycles on display, as well as plenty of ‘games of the times’ for the kids.
