Michael Armstrong and Otis Smith took home the titles for their positions in the under 15’s and under 13’s division two teams.
Armstrong, who plays goal keeper, finished with 21 votes - an extraordinary effort, but most impressive given his position on the field. He has been praised for his talent by league officials and opposition coaches throughout the season.
Smith finished on top of the table with 26 votes. He had a great season which included representing the league at country championships, and culminated with winning Daylesford’s first junior league title and cup win.
League golden boot winner Zach Koleski came up close behind with 25 votes, while other notable achievers were Mehdi Bennani, Logan Koleski and Tulley Pelham.
Club president Josh Smith said he was proud of the junior players’ achievements throughout the year.
“We have had a lot of positive feedback regarding our players and our improved standing in the BDSA competition,” he said.
